Mississippi Bends is a Hamilton-grown gritty alt country rock band blending Southern grit, ambient guitar textures, and emotionally raw songwriting. Pulling at your southern rock heartstrings their sound is a swampy brew of Americana steeped in the influence of Tom Petty, Neil Young, Sheryl Crow, and Wilco.

Fronted by singer-songwriter Mary Simon, known for her smouldering vocals and catchy lyrics, the band is powered by the ambient textures and guitar grit of Andrew Aldridge, with Andrew Marshall on bass and Joel Anderson on drums. Together, they create a dynamic, cinematic experience that blends swampy blues, backroad rock, and emotionally charged lyricism.
