At the age of 13, Dave Pomfret received his first electric guitar from his brother Rick, which marked the official start of his musical career. In the middle of the 1980s, Dave formed The Munday Nuns with Gene Champagne, Mike Trebilcock, and Erkki Raid thanks to that talent, as well as days and nights spent playing hockey, baseball, and dreaming of girls. The music scene in Hamilton was rocked by “The Nuns.”

The Hamilton music scene has given Dave’s solo debut NO RUSH (Mike Trebilcock, Producer) significant critical acclaim and high praise. Dave Pomfret “displays a mature songwriting craft on his first solo effort that blends a rootsy grit with a natural pop sensibility.” Graham Rockingham
