In 2007, Brian Melo, the singer-songwriter from Hamilton, skyrocketed to fame by clinching the Canadian Idol title. His inaugural album, “Livin’ It,” unveiled his rapidly blossoming songwriting prowess, attaining Gold Status. The album’s lead track, “All I Ever Wanted,” soared to the #1 spot on charts, earning the unofficial anthem status for the 2008 Canadian Summer Olympics Team. Brian continued his success with two more chart-topping singles, namely “Shine” and “Summertime.” Notably, “Summertime” garnered international attention when Australian Idol Shannon Noll covered it, achieving a Top 20 hit down under.
