In the heart of Hamilton, there is an entertainment and event venue called Mills Hardware. The area is located on the ground floor of a structure that was recognized with two awards: the 2014 HBSA Award of Excellence for Heritage/Adaptive Reuse and the Excellence in Design and Urban Regeneration at the City of Hamilton’s 2015 Urban Design and Architecture Awards. The structure was also featured in Canadian Architect magazine. In 2017 and 2019, Mills’ staff received nominations for Best Teamwork in a Small Club (Less Than 300 Capacity) at the Canadian Live Music Industry Awards.
The space is available for rent by businesses, political parties, community organizations, wedding receptions, and anyone else searching for a remarkable location to host an event for close to 150 people.
